Any use of the Hampergifts.co.uk website is subject to the user agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions. These conditions shall apply to all online transactions between Hampergifts.co.uk (“Hampergifts”) and any person, firm or company (“the Purchaser”) placing an order online with Hampergifts for the manufacture and/or supply of any goods (“the Goods”). Hampergifts, by accepting any order for Goods from the Purchaser, agrees to sell and the Purchaser agrees to purchase such Goods at the price stated on Hampergifts website and on the sole basis of the terms and conditions of Hampergifts stated herein.

    We deliver throughout mainland UK with the following exceptions & restrictions:-

    Unavailable Zones:

    We regret that we are currently unable to deliver to the below zones:

  • UK Channel Islands (Guernsey & Jersey).

    - Please also note that we are unable to deliver to P.O. Box addresses.
    - Regretfully we are also unable to deliver to BFPO addresses.

    Restricted Zones:

    Deliveries to the zones below will take an extra day or two to arrive from the date selected on the calendar. Please allow extra time for gifts to these areas to arrive:

  • Scottish Highlands.*
  • Northern Ireland.
  • The Republic of Ireland.
  • All UK Islands (except the Channel Islands where we are unable to deliver).

    Can I choose a delivery date?


    Yes - You can select your preferred delivery date from a calendar in the checkout pages of our website. Please note that we always endeavour to deliver on the requested day however delays may occur that are outside our direct control.

    * Christmas Delivery: We guarantee that all orders will arrive in time for Christmas. However in December, due to the high volume of parcels being sent, gifts may not always arrive on the selected day.

    Most items can be delivered within 2 Working Days of placing an order.
    Deliveries to the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands may take an additional day or two to arrive.

    How much is the delivery?

    Can you deliver on a weekend?


    Regrettably we are unable to deliver on a weekend.

    Delivery to Hospitals, Hotels & Universities


    Please contact the hospital, hotel or university before placing your order to check their delivery policy. Each establishment will have a different policy for receiving personal gifts. In all cases please enter as much information as possible in the delivery details.

    Our carrier can only be responsible for delivering up to the goods-in or reception point, as it may not be possible for staff, students or patients to sign for parcels themselves. Once signed for, it will be the responsibility of the establishment to ensure that the gift is passed on to the recipient in a timely manner.

    What time will my order arrive?


    Deliveries take place between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Unfortunately it is not possible to guarantee an exact delivery time.

    What if the recipient is not home?


    All deliveries require a signature so where possible please choose a delivery date and address where there will be someone to sign for the parcel. If the recipient is not at home on the selected delivery date the driver will either:-

    - Leave the parcel with a neighbour.
    - Leave the parcel at the nearest local post office for collection.
    - Attempt a redelivery the next working day (from 9am to 5pm).

    Please ensure all address details including house number and post code are entered correctly. Any delivery problems and redirections arising from incorrect address information have to be charged for.

    If the parcel is taken to a local post office but not collected by the addressee, then after 14 days it is returned to Hampergifts. Thereafter, the Purchaser will incur a redelivery charge to deliver the Goods. The Purchaser will also be charged for any items which have become unsuitable for sale and need replaced (any perishable items).

    Order Tracking


    ParcelForce will send you an email containing your tracking number the day before your delivery is scheduled.

    This email can sometimes be flagged as spam mail so please do check your junk mail folder if it doesn't arrive in your inbox.

    6. Returns, Refunds, Cancellations & Damages

    We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases and the service we provide and we offer a full "no questions" refund if you are not satisfied 100%.

    In accordance with the EU
    Distance Selling Directive you have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to 7 working days starting the day after delivery. In this situation please contact us to let us know you would like to cancel your order and then please return the goods to the address below, in the original packaging, and we will happily refund the value of the goods in full:

    If the goods are faulty in any way we offer a free returns service, and are happy to offer either a replacement or refund. Please contact support@hampergifts.co.uk for more information.

    Order Cancellations


    You may cancel an order up to 24 hours before the requested delivery date. However, if we receive notice of your cancellation later than 24 hours before the delivery date, you may be too late to halt the delivery. To cancel your order if the goods have already been dispatched, you must notify our customer services team by email to sales@hampergifts.co.uk. If you cancel the contract you must send the item, unused and in its original packaging, back to our contact address and we will refund the value of the goods.

    Damages


    In the unlikely event of damaged goods the Purchaser should contact Hampergifts within 3 days of receipt of Goods. Damaged Goods must be returned to our address above, suitably packaged. Hampergifts will replace or refund the items concerned.

    9. Substitutions




    While we endeavour to keep photography and descriptions as accurate as possible, Hampergifts reserves the right to substitute any items included in hampers for items of similar or greater value if those listed in the descriptions are out of stock. Contents may also vary slightly from image shown.

    Glasses, utensils, decorations and other props shown in photographs may not be included in the hamper unless specifically listed.


    10. Alcohol




    No persons under 18 years of age may place an order or receive Goods from Hampergifts if the Goods contain alcohol.


    11. Force Majeure




    Hampergifts will exercise every reasonable effort to meet the requested delivery date. Hampergifts shall not, however, be liable for any loss or damage due to delays or failure to ship resulting from any cause beyond its reasonable control, such as, but not limited to, compliance with laws or regulations, acts of God, acts or omissions of the Purchaser, acts of civil or military authority, judicial action, defaults of sub-contractors or suppliers, labour disputes, failure or delays in transportation, embargoes, wars or riots.


    12. Privacy Policy




    Hampergifts collects the information provided by the Purchaser at the time of ordering and uses this information lawfully and in accordance with the
    Data Protection Act 1998. Information is collected by Hampergifts to process the Purchaser’s order and also to provide the highest level of customer service possible.

    Under no circumstances will personal details including email addresses be passed onto any third party companies. In addition Hampergifts will not email marketing material to the Purchaser unless prior consent has been obtained. If the Purchaser does not wish to receive any promotional material they can uncheck the 'Promotions' box in their personal details.

    All designs, text, graphics and their selection and arrangement on this site are the copyright of Hampergifts.  As a visitor to the Hampergifts website you are licensed to copy electronically or to print portions of this site for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use of materials on this site without Hampergifts prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
